About us

United By Nature

The WTA unites elders and wisdom keepers from ancient Indigenous lineages to guide practical, life-changing projects on the ground. Through their leadership, we protect ancestral knowledge, support community development, and inspire a global reconnection with nature.

Our mission is to ensure that the world’s oldest living wisdom traditions continue to inform the future — not as relics of the past, but as active, regenerative forces for humanity and the Earth.

Humans Are Nature

Many of us have forgotten this, causing the conflicts, sickness and suffering we see in the world today.

Fortunately there are those who have remained connected to their natural surroundings - to the truth of who they are.

Nature speaks through such people, guiding those around them home.

It’s time for the rest of us to listen.

The old Lakota was wise. He knew that a man’s heart, away from nature becomes hard.
He knew that a lack of respect for growing, living things led to lack of respect for humans, too. So he kept his children close to nature’s softening influence.

LAKOTA STANDING BEAR

"Our mission is to repair humanity’s sacred connection with nature by unifying, supporting and learning from the great indigenous tribes of the world."
